Steven is 12 years old now. He communicates with his facial expression. He clarifies
his will by laughs, cries, grins or also by intensive looks. He can be fed politely
and partly eats alone. He likes walking with support and takes over his weight
while standing. We take on the balance for him so that he then walks independently.
He can slip down a few stairs and he tries to overcome hurdles. When held tight
he steps up stairs. Steven reacts to calling his name. He interrupts his actions
by the forceful shouting of the word NEIN (NO). When swimming he can keep his
balance independently (with water wings). He still likes to experiment with
noise producing materials.
